Volcano
Mt. Vesuvius
This is a picture of people who were in Pompeii when Vesuvius erupted...the volcano exploded and it pretty much made a plaster cast around the people who were in Pompeii. :-(
Pompeii resident
This is a person who lived in Pompeii at the time that Mt. Vesuvius erupted. You can see that the person has their hands covering their nose and mouth, trying to protect themself from the toxic gases.
